Description
Space Marines are genetically modified superhuman soldiers, the elite warriors of the Imperium of Man. Angels of death, capable of ridding the galaxy of all forces that do not conform to their own rule through brutal, ruthless warfare. Waging war through a variety of forms, from the full weight of a chapter of 1000 marines that can destroy entire species, to a small battle force of a few squads that can topple planetary governments and crush chaotic insurrections, either are lethal formations to any foe.
The Ultramarines, the largest Adeptus Astartes chapter in the Imperium, stand proudly alongside their Primarch Roboute Guilliman. All their heraldry is beautifully depicted on the gleaming armour of their greatest warriors, with the exception of their beloved Primarch, Marneus Calgar is the most decorated and Chapter Master of the Ultramarines. There are 28 tombs stored within the vault inside the Fortress of Hera devoted to his achievements and notable deeds, twice as many as any other Ultramarine bar Guilliman himself.
